"Promoting education based athletics in Indiana"

Is there ever a good time for an athlete to reinvent himself/herself? It usually happens when you are unhappy with your long term performance or see very little opportunity for improvement in doing things the same way.

Most athletes become somewhat complacent sometime during their career (or season) and reinventing yourself could rejuvenate your outlook and efforts if things aren't going like you wish.

My suggestion would be to make very few changes, if any, if you are in season. The proper time for a major overhaul would be in the off-season when you will have plenty of time to fine tune your changes before you put them to use.

You will never reach your full potential unless you put the time and effort into becoming your best, regardless of the path you decide to take!
