2004 BOYS BASKETBALL STATE FINALS CREDENTIAL REQUEST

 

Outlets that have not made a credentials request for the 2004 IHSAA Boys Basketball State Finals are advised to do so immediately by filling out the attached form and sending it, with company letterhead cover page, via fax to 317-575-4244.

 

  • Requests received by 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, March 17, may be mailed if requested.  
  • If a representative from your outlet is going to be at the state finals press conference on Monday, March 22, please note that on your request and those credentials will be held for pick up while at the meeting. 
  • Otherwise, credentials will be held at Media Will Call on the Delaware Street side of Conseco Fieldhouse and available ninety minutes prior to game time.
  • If the application for credentials depends on having a team from the outlet's coverage area in the state finals, please indicate on the form.
  • The 2003-04 IHSAA State Finals Media Pass, issued earlier this school year, will NOT BE ACCEPTED for the boys’ basketball state finals.
  • Credential requests for the sectional, regional and semi-state tournaments must be made through the host school.
  • Credentials request deadline 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, March 23, 2004.   No requests will be honored after this date.

 

Radio stations that plan to originate broadcasts should make their request through Mark Higdon at Associated Sports Productions, 36 South Pennsylvania Street, Indianapolis, 46204. The phone number is 317-633-1462. The fax number is 317-633-1461.  Complete information on joining the IHSAA Radio Network is also available through Associated Sports.

 

Credentials should be requested for working personnel only and children are strictly forbidden in the press area. Abuse of these privileges will result in the immediate revocation of the credential and the possible denial of credentials to future IHSAA events to the media outlet. Your cooperation is appreciated.
