Warren Central�s D�Juan Richardson Awarded

The Robert S. Hinshaw Mental Attitude Award

Members of the IHSAA Executive Committee announced D�Juan Richardson of Warren Central High School as the winner of this year�s Robert S. Hinshaw Mental Attitude Award in Boys Track and Field.

Richardson finished first in the 110 meter hurdles in this year�s state finals. He was second in the 300 meter hurdles, was a member of the 1600 meter relay team, and was an alternate for the 400 relay team.� Richardson also ran cross country for the Warriors.

Academically, he is ranked 28^th in his class of 760 and scored an impressive 1690 on the SAT.� D�Juan is a member of the Student Council, National Honor Society, and is a Warren Central student ambassador.� He was named an Indianapolis Professionals Association scholar and Circle City Classic honor student.

Richardson will attend the University of Iowa and plans to major in biology.� D�Juan is the son of Dorothy Castile of Indianapolis.

Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, the proud corporate partner of all IHSAA tournaments, presented a $1,000 scholarship to Warren Central in Richardson�s name.
