A note to readers: the IHSAA has attempted to list every person -- individual or relay event -- who has ever won a state championship since the inception of the state tournament series. It is an ongoing process and due to the vagueness of the state results in earlier years, some information is unavailable. Some of the missing information includes full names of relay members and first names of various individuals. If you can provide any verification – a newspaper article or yearbook as an example -- to help recognize these individuals’ achievements or you need to report an error, it would be greatly welcomed.
