"Promoting education based athletics in Indiana"

Regardless of how skilled an individual player becomes in a team sport, there is no one player that becomes more important than the team itself. In other words, the really good player and the team need to mesh in order to reach their full potential.

Do the good players on your team make the effort to fit in and be leaders, or are they more concerned about themselves?

If you find yourself being one of the top players on your team, be cognizant of the others around you. Don't showboat, don't brag, instead work harder than any one on your team, and always encourage your teammates.

How you engage with your teammates and coaches will make all of the difference in the success of your team!
