IHSAA Student-Athlete Tip of the Week (2-12-18)
"Promoting education based athletics in Indiana"

Successful people almost always have a strategy. Good business people have a strategy. Good teachers have effective lesson plans. Good coaches have winning game plans. As a student-athlete, don't you think it makes sense to have a strategy or plan when it comes to the classroom and your sport and your future?

Most likely you have a script that you follow. You may not realize it, but your script involves strategy and planning. The older you get, the more important it becomes.

Each step along the way becomes more of a challenge. College is more difficult than high school, and the business world is more challenging than college. Therefore, learning how to strategize and plan for today only sets you up to be more prepared as you move forward in your life.

So be sure to give some thought into how you use a plan or strategy as you mature and advance in life. Think about how you can use strategy to help you advance and conquer obstacles along the way!
