For the first time since 1990, this year's state tournament had no repeat regional winners as 16 teams battle for semi-state championships on Saturday, March 20. The winner of each game will advance to the 100th Annual Boys Basketball State Finals at Conseco Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

The Indiana High School Athletic Association, Inc. (IHSAA) is proud to announce that in 2010-11 it will begin producing and distributing its own television broadcasts of state championship events on what will be known as the IHSAA Championship Television Network.

Carmel claimed its state-leading 12th team title but the talk of the meet was the performance turned in by Chesterton phenom Kyle Whitaker. Whitaker capped a brilliant prep career winning two individual titles and a relay setting a national record, a state record on time for the second night in a row, a career state record and tied another career mark.

State Tournament Information 

Top-ranked Mishawaka completed a 31-0 dual season by beating Yorktown 37-17 in the state championship dual match at Center Grove High School in Greenwood on Saturday. It was the third wrestling title for the Cavemen and their second in three years.
