At the state finals each year, the IHSAA Executive Committee presents a mental attitude award to an outstanding senior participant in the girls tennis state finals tournament. The recipient of this award, who was nominated by her principal and coach, must excel in mental attitude, scholarship, leadership and athletic ability in tennis. Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, the IHSAA corporate partner, presents a $1,000 scholarship to the school in the name of the recipient.
