Marta Scheiwe
of
Members of
the IHSAA Executive Committee selected Marta Scheiwe
of
Marta
competed in the 200, 400 and 1600 meter relay for the wildcats. She also
qualified for the state finals in cross country. Marta is the daughter of Kent
and Susan Scheiwe of
Scheiwe
is the salutatorian in her class of 632. She is president of the National Honor
Society as a senior. During her illustrious academic career Scheiwe
has been an AP Scholar, Phi Beta Kappa, among others. She is active in choir and
is an accomplished pianist.
Besides
track, she has also lettered in cross country for the Wildcats. Scheiwe will attend Hillsdale college
in
Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance, the proud corporate partner of the IHSAA, presented a $1,000 scholarship to Lawrence North High School in the name of Marta Scheiwe.
