Boys Basketball

DeKalb seeks second perfect season

In the IHSAA Media Release of February 27, an inaccurate reference was made to DeKalb (19-0) going for the first unbeaten boys basketball season in school history tonight against Fort Wayne Dwenger.

DeKalb’s 1978-79 team recorded a 22-0 regular season and reached the Fort Wayne Regional finals before being eliminated from the IHSAA state tournament.
