THREE SCHOOLS JOIN IHSAA

At its regularly scheduled monthly meeting, the IHSAA Executive Committee unanimously approved the applications from three schools to become member of the Indiana High School Athletic Association.  Granted immediate membership were:  Blessed Theodore Guerin High School, Noblesville; Greenwood Christian Academy, Greenwood; and Seton Catholic High School, Richmond.

Each of the schools may participate in regular season competition in any of the IHSAA’s 20 sanctioned sports, but will not be eligible, under IHSAA By-Laws, to participate in the state tournaments of those sports until the 2006-07 season.

The addition of the three new applicants brings the total to 399 schools governed by IHSAA rules and regulations.
