BASKETBALL STATE TOURNAMENT PAIRINGS SHOWS SET

The pairings shows announcing the match-ups for the IHSAA girls and boys basketball state tournaments have been set.

 

The girls pairings show is scheduled for 6 p.m. EST on Sunday, Jan. 29 while the boys show is set for 1 p.m. EST on Sunday, Feb. 19.

 

Both programs will originate from the IHSAA Office in Indianapolis and be broadcast statewide to affiliates on the IHSAA Championship Radio Network. WIBC in Indianapolis will serve as the flagship station. A list of network affiliates will be announced in the days prior to each draw. Both shows are scheduled for a 90-minute broadcast.

 

At the conclusion of each, the pairings will be posted to the IHSAA website.

 

The girls tournament begins with sectionals on Feb. 7, 10 and 11; regionals on Saturday, Feb. 18; semi-states on Saturday, Feb. 25 and; the state finals on Saturday, March 4.

 

Sectionals for the boys tournament are slated for Feb. 28, March 3 and 4; regionals on Saturday, March 11; semi-states on Saturday, March 18 and; the state finals on Saturday, March 25.
