IHSAA AND RED GOLD® TO PARTNER FOR 2008-09 SCHOOL YEAR

The Indiana High School Athletic Association has announced a partnership with Red Gold®, Inc. as the official tomato products supplier of the IHSAA and its member schools for 2008-09 school year.

Red Gold®, a family-owned and operated company in Indiana since 1942, is a manufacturer of premium quality tomato and tomato-based products with operations based in Orestes, Indiana.

As part of the partnership Red Gold® will supply two complimentary cases of Red Gold Brand Ketchup to all of the concession stands of IHSAA member schools through the school cafeteria’s food service distributor. Additionally, Red Gold® will sponsor the IHSAA Sportsmanship Poster program to further promote good sportsmanship throughout the state. Nearly 5,000 posters will be distributed and displayed at member schools stressing the importance of being a good sport. In addition, participating schools across the state will display the colorful and familiar Red Gold logo on banners proclaiming that Red Gold is a proud sponsor of the IHSAA in over 400 school main concession stands across the state.
