Assistant Commissioner Kerrie Schludecker

Kerrie (Schludecker) Rosati joined the IHSAA as an Assistant Commissioner in 2015. Rosati is responsible for softball, boys’ and girls’ swimming and diving, and volleyball.  Additionally, her duties entail organizing the IHSAA Student Advisory Committee and the IHSAA Student Leadership Conference. 

Prior to joining the Association office, Rosati served three years as director of athletics at Boone Grove in northwest Indiana. There, she provided administrative direction and oversight to all athletic programs for grades 6-12. Prior to that she worked two years as athletic director at Marquette Catholic High School in Michigan City and also taught physical education at St. Stanislaus Catholic School during that time.

Rosati was an active member and served on several committees for both the Indiana Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (IIAAA) and the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (NIAAA) from which she earned a certified athletic administrators (CAA) license. She served as IIAAA chairperson for professional development and was a state representative in the same area for the NIAAA. She instructed NIAAA leadership training courses and mentored new athletic administrators.

Rosati, then Kerrie Schludecker, played softball collegiately while graduating summa cum laude from Marian University with a B.S. degree in Sports Management in 2007. She then went on to earn an M.S. degree in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University in 2009. Originally from Indianapolis, she is an alumnus of Roncalli High School and was a starter on the schools’ 2001 IHSAA Class 2A softball state championship team.

Rosati and her husband, Philip, reside in Westfield.
