As IHSAA Foundation President, Chris is responsible for leading the mission and vision of the IHSAA Foundation to protect, sustain, and nurture high school sports in Indiana.
Chris has spent nearly his entire career in the service of education-based athletics and student-athletes. In addition to his role at the Foundation, Chris also serves as an assistant commissioner for the IHSAA, a role he has held since 2012. Chris first joined the Association in 2006.
George Lukemeyer III, known as “Trip”, joined the IHSAA Foundation as Director in May of 2023.
Trip’s responsibilities include spearheading fundraising and development, managing the website and donor database, overseeing communication, developing programmatic themes, and serves as the point-of-contact for IHSAA events including scholarship presentations and golf outings.
