The award carries the name of Ray Crowe, the late, legendary Hall of Fame basketball coach of Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis who also was a teacher, administrator, politician and government official in our great state.
National High School Hall of Fame | About Founded in 1982, the National High School Hall of Fame was formed to honor high school athletes, coaches, officials, administrators and others worthy of national recognition as examples for others to emulate. This includes a list of Indiana's inductees.

Distinguished Media Service Award | About The IHSAA annually presents this award to a member of the news media in each of its three legislative districts for making a positive contribution and demonstrated dedicated service to the high school sports program in Indiana.
Champions of Education Award Originating in 2022, IHSAA Champions of Education Award identifies, acknowledges, and celebrates the noble professions of teachers, coaches, and administrators who go above and beyond to challenge their high school students to become the best versions of themselves. During the state championship game in each team sport, the IHSAA honors an educator from both participating schools who was selected by their school for their commitment to student success.
