  • Richard G. Lugar Award for Distinguished Service | About 
    Named in honor of the former United States Senator from Indiana, recipients of this award exemplify the highest standard of professional ethics, sportsmanship, moral character, and carry the endorsement of their IHSAA member high school.
     
  • Ray Crowe Excellence in Leadership Award | About | Application 
    This annual award was created to recognize and honor a devoted servant leader to Indiana high school student-athletes and their community. The award carries the name of Ray Crowe, the late, legendary Hall of Fame basketball coach of Crispus Attucks High School in Indianapolis who also was a teacher, administrator, politician and government official in our great state.
     
  • C. Eugene Cato Memorial Scholarships | About | Application 
    These recipients are Indiana’s brightest stars and they embody everything that is right about high school sports. These well-rounded, positive role models have demonstrated excellence in academics, school and community involvement, character, sportsmanship, and citizenship. 
     
  • Thomas A. Brady, MD, Comeback Scholarship | About | Application 
    This award is unique because it honors both male and female student-athletes at the collegiate and high school level from Indiana who has distinguished themselves by overcoming adversity or injury and returned and excelled beyond expectations in their respective sport(s).
     
  • National High School Hall of Fame | About 
    Founded in 1982, the National High School Hall of Fame was formed to honor high school athletes, coaches, officials, administrators and others worthy of national recognition as examples for others to emulate. This includes a list of Indiana's inductees.
     
  • NFHS Spirit of Sport Award | About | Application 
    The NFHS “National High School Spirit of Sport Award,” recognizes individuals who exemplify the ideals of the positive spirit of sport that represent the core mission of education-based athletics.
     
  • Mental Attitude Awards | About 
    A tradition following each state championship event during the school year, this award is presented by the IHSAA Executive Committee to a senior who best demonstrates excellence in mental attitude, scholarship, leadership and athletic ability during their high school career.
