At the IHSAA Foundation, we honor and recognize the achievements of student-athletes on the field, in the classroom, and within their communities. This banquet highlights their work excelling and impacting others. 

We support the mission of education-based athletics that teaches life lessons learned in competition and will propel today's student-athletes into tomorrow's leaders. 

We are excited to recognize and award our student-athletes who are making a life-long IMPACT.

Awards Being Presented

In celebration of the impact that today's student-athletes are making, the Impact Awards honors tomorrow's leaders with over $50,000 worth of scholarships and recognizes the graduating members of the IHSAA's Student Advisory Committee. Honorees are recognized on stage and celebrated for their accomplishments in competition, within the classroom, and in their communities.

Parker Amet Champions Together Post-Secondary Scholarship

An inspiration to others to practice inclusivity and kindness, the Parker Amet scholarship is named in honor of this active Unified Sports participant. This scholarship is awarded to a student-partner who strives to emulate the legacy of the 2016 Prom King from Carmel High School. 

 

Eugene C. Cato Scholarship

The largest of the IHSAA Scholarships, the C. Eugene Cato Memorial Scholarship is the longest standing scholarship awarded to student-athletes around our state who exemplify the mission behind education-based athletics.

 

David Cranfill Truehearted Teammate Award

This scholarship is provided to student-athletes who exhibits loyalty and faithfulness by putting their teammates, coaches, schools and community above themselves.

 

Pris Dillow "Seize the Day" Post-Secondary Scholarship

Continuing the mission of the first female member of the IHSAA's Board of Directors, recipients strive and continuously work for positive change.

 

Amy Hasbrook Family Leadership Award

In honor of the late Amy Hasbrook, this scholarship honors two female multi-sport student-athletes who best epitomize and embody sportsmanship, leadership, integrity, and dedication to the team.

 

Denny Lewis Legacy of Advocacy Post-Secondary Scholarship

This scholarship, named in honor of the late Denny Lewis, honors one student-athlete who lives and leads by embracing the values of education-based athletics.

 

Lee Lonzo Champions Together Post-Secondary Scholarship

Awards financial support to a student-athletes and a student-partner who compete alongside each other in the Champions Together program.

 

James Robinson Pathway to Officiating Post-Secondary Scholarship

In support of those who have already, or wish to, enter the profession of officiating, this scholarship supports young officials with financial support in honor of a legendary IHSAA official.

 

Sparks Foundation Post-Secondary Scholarship

Awarded to those who exhibit great determination and fortitude through adversity by utilizing the skills learned through high school sports, especially teamwork, leadership, and good character. 

 

Thomas A. Brady Comeback Award, presented by Forté Sports Medicine and Orthopedics

Awarded to student-athletes who have distinguished themselves by overcoming adversity or injury, and returned and excelled beyond expectations in their respective sport(s). 

 

IHSAA Student Advisory Committee

The nine graduating senior student-athletes from around the state, who work hand-in-hand with the IHSAA at our state tournaments and serve their classmates by being their voice of representation in shaping the future, will be recognized and honored for the tireless commitment to the IHSAA and student-athletes across the state. 

 


 

Beyond

The Beyond the Game Award celebrates and recognizes an individual or group who has demonstrated a committed devotion and passion towards the IHSAA Foundation and our mission. 

This honoree has supported, promoted, and protected education-based athletics and their benefits for future generations. This honor highlights those who no longer have eligibility within high school athletics, but continues to live by their ideals and makes an impact on our state.
